The cast of The Hills gathered at The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel last night to toast their series finale, which aired last night in the US, and will air on August 15th in the UK. Kristen Cavallari, Audrina Patridge, Whitney Port, Lo Bosworth, and Stephanie Pratt mingled with Brody Jenner and Frankie Delgado on the red carpet, but there was one unwelcome surprise. As rumoured, Spencer Pratt crashed the event — no one expected, though, that he'd do so dressed as an old man. His estranged wife, Heidi Montag, didn't attend, but she took to her Twitter to muse on the unexpected turns her life has taken.
Lauren Conrad skipped the red carpet, but she was inside the event to chat with MTV hosts. She raised a glass to the series in a sparkly dress she picked out for the occasion. LC spent her Monday night checking out a Kings of Leon show with pals, but she looked equally happy to reunite with her former costars. She said farewell to the show that helped launch her career, but there's lots more to come for LC with movies, books, and her fashion collection.

Over the weekend, Whitney Port debuted her new, dark caramel-coloured hair in Hollywood. Whitney's always been a blonde in my mind, so seeing her venture into the world of brunettes is kind of fun. Instead of looking golden, her hair has kind of a bronzy, '70s feel to it, which I'm digging. Pictured below is Whitney with ombrè hair and with bright blond hair.
