Nicole's stylish night out comes hot on the heels of the launch of her new reality series, Candidly Nicole, on AOL On. The new web show describes itself as being based on Nicole's Twitter feed and follows her as she goes on various short adventures, and has already earned rave reviews. One trip that might not end up on the show is the 2013 Met Gala, which takes place on Monday. Rachel made the rounds with her husband, Rodger Berman, by her side, saying hello Tobey Maguire's wife, Jennifer Meyer; host Jacqui Getty; and more. Demi showed up solo, sporting a sexy black dress with knee-high boots, after stopping by the Matt Damon-hosted episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live. Emma Roberts, meanwhile, mingled with pal Gia Coppola. It was a busy night for Nicole, as well, who was on double duty after also attending the Elle Women in Television event.
Stars descended on the Chateau Marmont in LA last night for W magazine's annual Golden Globes party celebrating their Best Performances issue. Jennifer Lawrence was a bright spot in the night, wearing a blue number after attending the AFI Awards in a colorful Prabal Gurung dress earlier in the day. Globes nominee Marion Cotillard chose a printed look from the same designer for the publication's bash, where Sienna Miller, who is up for an honor at Sunday's show, made her first award-season appearance. Selena Gomez and Kate Beckinsale attended Vogue's special dinner celebrating Alberta Ferretti's limited-edition 2013 collection in LA last night. Selena, wearing a blue Alberta Ferretti dress, posed alongside Chelsea Handler while Kate chatted up Olivia Munn. Meanwhile, Alison Brie, Brittany Snow, and Anna Kendrick — all in Alberta Ferretti — shared a few laughs as they sat front row at the special presentation.

A whole host of lovely ladies stepped out in Culver City, CA, on Saturday for the first-ever Baby2Baby Gala held at the Book Bindery. The event honored the organization's board member and ambassador, Jessica Alba, who wore Valentino for the special night and was presented her award by Mindy Kaling. Jessica tweeted to Mindy, "Thank you so much for presenting my award last night, it was truly an honor and Cash Warren is still blushing!" Board member Nicole Richie attended in a gown by Lorena Sarbu while Modern Family's Julie Bowen wore Naeem Khan. Also on hand were Busy Philipps, Rachel Zoe, Ali Larter, and Rebecca Gayheart. A few of their men came along to show their support as well, with Rachel's husband, Rodger Berman, stepping out and Rebecca's man, Eric Dane, also making an appearance.
The beauty looks at the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic were all about glamour, but there was one hairstyle that was the obvious favorite: the tousled wave. Whether they were paired with a turban like the one Rachel Zoe was donning, or styled in a vintage fashion à la Lauren Conrad, these wavy strands took center stage. The trick to this look is to hold your curling iron horizontally instead of vertically while you wrap the hair around it. A quick tug on the wave while it's still hot will further loosen it.
To get Lauren's style, brush the waves out lightly once they cool and part your hair to the side. Ashley Madekwe's strands can be achieved with a half-inch iron with the hair being curled away from the face, while Ashley Greene's can be teased up and pinned back for a cool-girl look. And for a trendsetting way to wave, pair beachy strands with an inky black turban like Rachel. These effortless curls look polished and cool, no matter how you decide to wear them.
