Kate Bosworth and Winona Ryder couldn't have dressed more differently when they both attended the Homefront premiere in Los Angeles. Kate literally shined in a strapless silver dress heavily embellished with crystals. A metallic box clutch, sparkling H.Stern Moonlight earrings, and silver Christian Louboutin heels only added to the monochromatically gleaming red carpet look. Meanwhile, Winona opted for an all-black Cushnie et Ochs dress sporting diagonal shoulder cutouts. She completed the timeless outfit with a black clutch and heels. Whose look do you think was more successful?
With an ongoing collaboration with Topshop, a history of hitting up London Fashion Week's front row, and a passion for some of the UK's biggest designers (not to mention our men, remember Orlando Bloom?) we think it's safe to say Kate Bosworth loves Britain. Yesterday, she showed her love of British style when she stepped out in two ensembles by homegrown labels. First up was a cobalt blue Alexander McQueen dress for an appearance at SiriusXM radio, teamed with taupe suede heels. She later changed into a black Christopher Kane gown with dramatic jewelled embellishments for the New York premiere of Big Sur. Her day-to-night transformation was a brilliant one, and we think she looked great in both short and long hemlines. But which look ticked all the boxes for you?
Kate Bosworth tried out an unusual plaited updo for her red carpet turn in New York last night for the premiere of Big Sur. The star is no stranger to plaits, but rather than wearing her usual milkmaid braids or a looser style wrapped over the top of her head from side to side, she opted for a slick look from the front, with spine-style plaits that ran all the way down the back of her head vertically. It was a sleek, edgy look with just a touch of the unfinished about it, courtesy of visible bands and grips (deliberate or otherwise). This new spin on the plaited 'do definitely took things in a new direction (quite literally), but how did you rate this style?

Newlyweds Kate Bosworth and Michael Polish had a night on the town in San Francisco on Wednesday. They stepped out for the opening of the Bulgari retrospective at the city's M. H. de Young Memorial Museum, which was also attended by Hilary Swank and China Chow. The fancy outing marked the first time we've seen the couple on the red carpet since tying the knot in a rustic Montana wedding over Labor Day weekend. A Stella McCartney-clad Kate and her man shared sweet PDA during the event, and Kate took to Twitter to share a photo of the two having a drink inside with costume designer Jacqui Getty, saying, "Whiskey a go go."
For celebrities, sitting front row at Fashion Week is pretty much a given — but what happens when you find out that you're sitting alongside the Anna Wintour? The Vogue editrix is famous for her self-assured, slightly intimidating, poker-faced Fashion Week presence, and earning a seat next to her could easily be a dream come true for most fashion-loving celebs. It also sets in motion a longtime industry superstition: does earning a coveted spot next to Anna also nab you a Vogue cover?
Just in time for the start of Fashion Week, we're taking a look back at some of the stars who have been seated next to Anna during the shows — and taking a tally of whether or not they've graced the glossy cover of Vogue. Click through to start keeping score.

The actress tied the knot with her director fiancé at The Ranch at Rock Creek in Philipsburg, MT, surrounded by a group of 50 friends and family members. Vogue UK reports the dress had an eight-foot-long, 16-foot-wide train that Bosworth paired with a full-length veil. She also wore a pair of shoes from Jimmy Choo (the Lotus sandal, to be exact) when she walked down the aisle, and later changed into another de la Renta dress for the reception. The groom went for a classic suit from Brooks Brothers.

Kate Bosworth and Michael Polish have tied the knot after a yearlong engagement, and Martha Stewart Weddings shared details of the couple's nuptials with behind-the-scenes pictures. On Saturday, the pair was married in an intimate ceremony at The Ranch at Rock Creek in Philipsburg, MT, where both the couple and the guests stayed for the weekend. Family and friends, including Lake Bell, had the chance to ride horses and hike throughout their stay, and they were greeted with welcome bags that included a handwritten note from the couple.
Kate donned two custom Oscar de la Renta dresses for the big day, including a strapless ball gown with an eight-foot train that she wore when she and Michael said "I do." They penned their own vows for the ceremony, which took place on a bluff overlooking acres of rolling hills. For the reception, Kate changed into a floral embroidered tulle dress with scalloped cap sleeves, and the creation of both dresses will be featured in an upcoming Vogue.com video.
The actress first met Michael when she starred in the film Big Sur, which he directed, in 2011. He proposed the following year during a trip to South Korea, and she let it slip that she was engaged when she called him her fiancé in an article that she contributed to Vogue in August 2012. More wedding details will be featured in the Winter issue of Martha Stewart Weddings, which hits newsstands in December. Congrats to the couple!
