Natalia Vodianova is the face of Stella McCartney's ad campaign for a third season in a row. Just like last year's Autumn/Winter campaign, the ads were shot in London by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. The models wears a flared stretch tweed minidress in some of the pictures, and poses in an embroidered white poplin shirt with a faux-croc Grace clutch bag in others. Stella styled the campaign herself, and told WWD: "[We tried] to create a striking, memorable image that will leap off the page and capture the energy of the collection and Natalia’s personality." Ralph Lauren has one of the most inspiring stories in the fashion industry. The designer, who grew up in the Bronx, started off his fashion adventure at an early age first working as a tie salesman at Brooks Brothers. In 1967, Lauren launched his own line of ties, then followed up with a complete menswear collection the year after. A few years after, Lauren introduced the world to his now iconic polo shirt with its signature horse rider emblem. Fast forward to present time, and the designer has since swept the world with his classic, effortless, beautiful American designs. Remember when Julianne Moore fronted Bulgari's Fall/Winter '10 campaign, posing naked but dripping in jewels and cuddling with the cutest lion cubs in the world? Julianne's elegance and glamour seemed a natural fit for the luxury brand. For its Mon Jasmin Noir perfume campaign, Bulgari continued with the sultry vibe, and their choice of frontwoman is surprising: indie cutie Kirsten Dunst, who I associate more with adorable dimples and Marc by Marc dresses than glamorous jewels and lion escapades. To get the full experience, watch the movie, where Kirsten Dunst appears to love a lion in a strong Beauty and the Beast reference.
