Looking lovely in chic, Summery resort-style attire, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley models the Riviera Issue Edit, the online Net-A-Porter magazine. The inspiration was Brigitte Bardot in a "more laid back South of France look." See all of her stunning photos — and clothes that you can shop online!
The British sure do know how to rock and roll, so with last night's Met Gala theme being punk, the American ladies took a cue from their friends across the pond, just how to look punk-sational and elegant all at the same time. It's fashion's biggest night out, so click here to see just how these lovelies from the UK paired their hair and makeup with their funky attire.
The Brits sure know how to rock it out punk style on the red carpet, which is perhaps why so many of them were in attendance at last night's 2013 Metropolitan Museum of Art Gala in New York City. Clad in every designer under the sun (more on who wore what British designers later), they were dressed to impress from head to toe with stunning accessories, gowns and shoes full of chains, studs and of course — fishnet. Take a look at these British beauties in my gallery here and leave a comment at the end letting me know who you think looked best.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley opted for a much darker look this evening, wearing a Gucci gown featuring a sheer black-and-gold tulle top and satin skirt. To add to the high shine, the model accessorized with a lizard jeweled clutch, beautiful drop earrings, and a diamond gold statement ring. Are you loving her skin-revealing brand of glam?
Balmain hosted an intimate dinner party at Chateau Marmont on Saturday evening with celebrity attendees like Nicole Richie and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley decked out in the designer du jour. Both ladies offered us different looks from Balmain's Spring 2013 collection — but whose outfit do you like best? Watch today's Fashion Flash for all the scoop from the party. On Allison: Sachin + Babi jacket, Zara top, BesoBeso jewelry.
Nicole Richie and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley both wore Balmain to the fashion house's LA dinner party at the Chateau Marmont last night. Nicole's stylish night out comes hot on the heels of the launch of her new reality series, Candidly Nicole, on AOL On. The new web show describes itself as being based on Nicole's Twitter feed and follows her as she goes on various short adventures, and has already earned rave reviews. One trip that might not end up on the show is the 2013 Met Gala, which takes place on Monday. Neither Nicole nor Rosie have been confirmed for the event, but that doesn't mean that there won't be tons of fashion stars at the bash — get all the details on the 2013 Met Gala, including the guest list, the designers, and more!
We kicked off last week with the Time 100 Gala, were treated to film premieres and parties in between, and closed it out with a Vogue-hosted dinner in London on Saturday night. Suffice it to say, celebrities have had ample opportunity to show off a range of glamourous eventwear — and they've taken it. From Kate Hudson's hot-pink heels and leather for an appearance in NYC to Joan Smalls's little white dress and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley's knockout Michael Kors, it's a lesson in dressing of the very chicest kind. Some people just go through life with rose-coloured glasses on, and such is the case for British model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. Dressed in gym attired with her hair pulled back into an ukempt ponytail, she looked absolutely radiant in the Los Angeles sunshine wearing a pair of rose-coloured aviators the other day. Shop a wide array of rosie sunnies here and let me know which pair makes your heart pitter patter.
What is so much fun about following stylish celebrities through social media venues is that it gives you a little insight into their everyday lives and into their personalities. Just look at poor Kelly Osbourne who took a photo of herself with a terrible sunburn, or Cara Delevigne posing making a kiss face with an owl named Twinkle! I love these snapshots from my favourite beautiful British ladies and I hope that you do too. Click through the slideshow to see more of what I'm talking about!
It's always fun to think about ways to change your hair whether it be cut or colour, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Sarah Harding and Chloe Moretz all have braved the salon chair recently on one way or the other. Rosie chopped a few inches off of her cascading blonde hair, whilst Sarah Harding added extensions for a concert and Chloe Moretz deepened her fading brown colour. Vote on which of these looks you like best by clicking through the photos in the slideshow.
