Never before have I witnessed the evolution of an it girl like with Cara Delevigne. Whether she is walking the catwalk, a red carpet or landing a fashion spread, cover or advert, this Chelsea born babe is has a passport to envy — not to mention a bank account. Now I find out that she has also landed a beauty campaign for Yves Saint Laurent's latest mascara launch. Yes, just say it...Cara for mascara — it's all just too perfect!
The mascara is called YSL Baby Doll and will be available from May 22nd nationwide.

I might be pretty irked if I was a model. After all, celebrities seem to be taking over the top spots in fashion and beauty campaigns that formerly went to them. On Friday evening, British model, actress and daughter of Gerry Hall and Mick Jagger, Georgia May Jagger celebrated her 21st birthday. The trendy and wildly popular French High Street brand Maje announced early this morning that model, TV personality, British style icon of the year and one of London's hottest it girls, Alexa Chung, has been tapped as the face of their Spring/Summer 2013 collection. Not only will Alexa model for the line, but she's also partnering with them on a project called, "Majed by Alexa Chung." Wow — all of a sudden they are a verb!
Through a competition on Facebook, three lucky winners from the UK, France and America will have the opportunity to fly to New York City and be styled (erm, "Majed") by Alexa for a photo shoot that will be shown in all Maje stores during Paris Fashion Week this coming February.
