It was a battle of the WAGs yesterday as both Coleen Rooney and Alex Gerrard launched clothing lines. Coleen has created a Spring line for Littlewoods, a brand which she already models for, which will launch around New Year's Eve retailing around £25-£180. She commented, ''I tried to design clothes for everyone, with lots of going-out dresses, jeans and day tops."
Alex's collection for Forever Unique has a slightly higher price point and is available at Selfridges. It's divided in to two sections; Alex Glam and Alex Rock and it is priced between £30 and £245. She was inspired by her own wardrobe, commenting, "I’ve got quite a lot of classic pieces that I tend to accessorise to make them more edgy."

Alex Curran has become one of the most prolific WAGs of the 2010 World Cup. The Liverpool lass hasn't been allowed to fly out to the England camp in South Africa so has instead been holding parties for the games at her house. She is the wife of Steven Gerrard and has been using her column to show support for him and the rest of the England team. Click through to see some of Alex's best style moments from the past 12 months.
Unlike in Baden Baden in 2006, wives and girlfriends are not allowed in to the England camp this year. Fabio Capello banned WAGS, but that doesn't stop them partying in the UK. Two of the most high profile names from previous tournaments, Victoria Beckham and Cheryl Cole no longer officially fall in to the category (David is injured and Cheryl recently filed for divorce) so it leaves the style competition well open! Most of these girls have their own careers, but they're still busy supporting their men. Out of these five WAGs, which do you think is the most stylish?
Now that the 2010 World Cup is well under way, a lot of focus has returned to the WAGS (check out 15 WAGS to watch here). Both Coleen Rooney and Alex Curran remain in the UK and held parties on Saturday night to watch the first England game. Alex went for a very Summery look in a long white maxi with embellished detail. She accessorised with an Alexander Wang bag, beaded sandals and charm bangles. You can copy her look below.
