Trend Alert: Return of The Supermodel Blow Dry!

1

Welcome back Cindy! It's like you never left! Big and bouncy blow dries are having a moment, it seems, as the fashion pack embrace the 1990s supermodel look.

It started during London Fashion Week's Fashion for Relief event, where Naomie Harris, Geri Halliwell and Kimberley Walsh all worked giant Brigitte Bardot hairstyles, but it looks like it's continuing in to a major phenomenon.

Check out Gisele on the cover of American Vogue this April, all '90s glamour in her one shoulder coral top capped by big swooshy hair! On the catwalks in February, Balmain, Giles and Prada also worked a similar vibe.

You can now even get the 'Super' style yourself at Daniel Hersheson's Blow Dry Bar, with it's new Big and Brushed style (£22). Throw on George Michael's 'Freedom! 90' hit classic, and you'll be poised for your own catwalk turn.

Ok, i hate to rain on your parade but there is no way I consider Gisele's hair a blow out on the cover of that Vogue. Say whaaat? That is the most classic example of beach hair! She is literally swimming and surfing in the pics for crying outloud!! Glamour is not the word I'd use for that shot although I love her. Free spirit more like! Anyway, I'd be as happy as anyone if big blowouts were reallly back in style.
