Stella McCartney's annual Spring preview brought out a range of celebrities to the designer's NYC boutique yesterday. Anne Hathaway, sporting the short-haired look she assumed for her role in Les Misérables, said hello to Stella and made the rounds with her fiancé, Adam Shulman. The role of Fantine in Les Mis is the latest in a series of amazing parts for Anne, including her stint as Catwoman in The Dark Knight Rises. Amy Poehler wore bright orange to check out the bash and caught up with fellow actors Jim Carrey and Greta Gerwig. There were plenty of other Stella fans, many of which brought their kids, to see her Resort '13 designs. Lauren Hutton swung by, as did Solange Knowles with her son, Juelz. The backyard was decked out with a lemonade stand, Belvedere drinks for the adults, balloons, and even bubbles.

Yesterday in New York, Stella McCartney unveiled her Resort 2013 collection in her classic style with a garden party. The British designer held this year's presentation at the East Village’s 19th-century Marble Cemetery, with celebrity guests including Anne Hathaway, Jim Carrey and Solange Knowles. Standouts from the collection include blazers and skirts in hot pink with gold floral jacquards, ivory bell-bottoms with tuxedo stripes, sweaters with sporty neon ribbing and all-over leopard-print. Stella said: "I wanted to inject the collection with optimism. When spring comes, it’s a hopeful time of year and everything starts over." Paul, his wife Nancy Shevell, and his daughter Stella cohosted a launch of his new single "My Valentine," the video for which features cameos from Natalie Portman and Johnny Depp. Many of the celebs donned designs from Stella, including Miranda, Kristen, and Gwen, who looked amazing in a sheer-sided ensemble. Other stars who stepped out to support Paul included Ginnifer Goodwin, Rumer Willis, Amy Smart, Jane Fonda, and Kristen's The Runaways buddy Joan Jett.

Miranda was solo for the bash as her husband, Orlando Bloom, jetted out of LA yesterday with their 15-month-old son Flynn Bloom. Gwen was likewise without her own British husband, Gavin Rossdale, but did have the company of her No Doubt bandmate Tony Kanal.

Stella McCartney Unveils Team GB Olympic Kit

Yesterday at the Tower of London, Stella McCartney revealed the Union Jack-inspired kit she has designed for the British Olympic team.

Yesterday at the Tower of London, Stella McCartney revealed the Union Jack-inspired kit she has designed for the British Olympic team. More than 30 athletes including triple jumper Phillips Idowu and heptathlete Jessica Ennis swapped the sports stadium for the catwalk as they modeled the red, white and blue Adidas outfits. A pixellating grid runs across the two-tone blue flag emblem that adorns the chest, and shinpads and shoes are bold in red. Speaking about the Union Jack, the 40-year-old British designer said:

"For me it's one of the most beautiful flags in the world and it was important for me to stay true to that iconic design but also to modernise it and present it in a contemporary way. Ultimately, we wanted the athletes to feel like a team and be proud with the identity we created."

Stella worked with Adidas for more than two years perfecting the clothing, which 900 British Olympic and Paralympic competitors will wear in competitions, at medal ceremonies and during training. She has designed 590 different items that not only look patriotic but also aim to maximise efficiency across the 46 sports. Take a look at Team GB's designer kit here!
