Miuccia Prada laid the groundwork for her Spring 2014 Miu Miu collection with the inventive decor for the show, giving the audience a glimpse at the charming prints to come with wallpaper panels. The coats were a clear standout of the cheerful show, with animal motifs emblazoned the sides of swingy single breasted styles while red trim and oversize buttons gave a charming gamine quality to a long navy peacoat. But if you're more in the mood to party, there were party dresses galore from puff-ball strapless dress with incredible ruching to give volume while maintaining a sense of lightness to slinky little beaded slip dresses with enough beaded tassels and fringe to satisfy anyone's inner Daisy Buchanan (or the jam-packed front row including Prada fans Michelle Dockery and Lena Dunham). It's not often than a collection is wearable and covetable, but we're starting a fantasy fund for that cat-print coat right now.
The ladies of Downton Abbey are definitely making their mark on the Venice Film Festival, choosing to make a statement in bright red. Where Sandra Bullock goes, others will follow! Firstly, Michelle Dockery (aka Lady Mary) attended the premiere of the Miu Miu Women's Tale in, what else, a red Miu Miu shift dress with long sleeves. Only a few days later, her costar Joanne Froggatt (Anna) was in town for the premiere of her next film, Still Life, a British indie set to come out later this year. She also chose red, this time a fit-and-flare style with box pleats and a slim black belt. The question is: which Downton lady looked better? Cast your votes now!
Miu Miu has just introduced a new handbag for Spring that is already hit the streets in a big big way. The Craquelé handbag (£1,030) is made from craquelé leather, created by cracking the coloured dye on the surface to acheive a worn-in style. It has a structured shape, two top handles and comes in black, white, red and various two-tone shades with gold hardware. Sienna Miller has been spotted with a black style, whilst Lily Cole and Du Juan have worn the white one. Also seen carrying a Craquelé is Chloe Moretz, Rumer Willis and Arizona Muse. Which bag is on your wish list for Spring 2013?

January Jones, Zoe Saldana, and Renée Zellweger lent their Hollywood support at Miu Miu's Fall 2013 show in Paris today. January channeled her Mad Men character, Betty, when she dropped by the event in a retro hairdo and a Miu Miu ensemble. Meanwhile, Zoe and Renée sported black outfits and chatted with Rebecca Hall while sitting front row. Renée and Zoe have more in common than just their taste in designers since both women have previously dated Bradley Cooper.
It's a good thing that January is getting into the '60s spirit, as filming for Mad Men season six is still under way. Jon Hamm and John Slattery filmed scenes for the new season of Mad Men outside a hotel in LA yesterday while January was in the City of Light. Fans will be able to catch the show soon as a new Mad Men promo was released earlier this week, calling the April 7 premiere the "affair of the year."
