Kristen Stewart channeled her inner Texan fashionista when she attended Chanel's Métiers d’Art 2013/2014 fashion show in Dallas, TX, on Tuesday evening. The actress was named the new face of the upcoming campaign for the collection, which is called "Paris-Dallas" and draws inspiration from Texan culture and style. The ads will be shot by Karl Lagerfeld and are expected to be released in May 2014. Other celebrities at the cowboy-themed event included Zoë Kravitz, Lily Collins, and Kristen's Twilight franchise costar, Dakota Fanning.
This is the second big fashion campaign for Kristen, who is also the face of Balenciaga's Florabotanica perfume. She recently wrapped up filming on her latest feature, Anesthesia, in NYC and has been laying low in LA for the past few weeks. Most recently, Kristen showed off her famously casual style when she went on an errand run in California while wearing her favorite skinny jeans and a navy sweatshirt.
Sometimes, things don't work out the way you hoped. It happens to the best of us, and celebrities are no exception. This year was fraught with splits, from Britney Spears and Jason Trawick calling it quits to George Clooney and Stacy Keibler throwing in the towel. We were floored when Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom broke the news of their breakup and equally saddened when Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder ended their two-year romance. And let's not forget Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus, who called off their engagement, and Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, who had us rooting for them more than once. Let's talk about all the biggest celebrity breakups that left us totally flabbergasted — vote now!
Even with the plethora of celebrities (including the ones that have said "it's complicated") sharing their personal lives on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter you'd be surprised at how many other stars are foregoing social media completely, either due to confusion, lack of interest, or just plain fear. Just this week, a trio of A-listers — George Clooney, Julia Roberts, and Kate Hudson — all spoke out against social networking. George communicated the dangers of drunk-tweeting while Julia likened to it a sugar high, and Kate admitted to being "scared" of the whole concept. Read on to see 10 stars that are so not about social media.
In a recent sit-down with Esquire, George Clooney spilled all of his feelings about social media, primarily Twitter. The actor said, "Why on God's green earth would you be on Twitter? Because first of all, the worst thing you can do is make yourself more available, right? Because you're going to be available to everybody. But also Twitter." He also mused on the dangers of drunk-tweeting: "So one drunken night, you come home, and you've had two too many drinks, and you're watching TV, and somebody pisses you off, and you go 'Ehhhhh' and fight back. And you go to sleep, and you wake up in the morning, and your career is over. Or you're an asshole. Or all the things you might think in the quiet of your drunken evening are suddenly blasted around the entire world before you wake up."
Even if George Clooney was to get a Twitter account, one person he won't be sharing 140 characters with is Julia Roberts. His Ocean's Eleven costar recently opened up about her aversion to social media to Marie Claire, saying, "It's kind of like cotton candy: It looks so appealing, and you just can't resist getting in there, and then you just end up with sticky fingers, and it lasted an instant."
On the subject of getting in on the social media craze, Kate Hudson told Harper's Bazaar: "I'm scared!"
Kristen Stewart had harsh words for Twitter and its users in a 2010 interview with Flaunt magazine. The Twilight star said, "Twitter f**ks me over every day of my life. Because people go, ‘I’m sitting next to Kristen Stewart right now,’ and then [the paparazzi] show up." She went on: "I see people on their phones, and I just want to take these cookies and throw them. It’s like ‘Get off your f**king phone, and get a life!’ I get so mad. It’s like you’re trampling on someone’s life without any regard. And it’s rampant. Everyone can do it now. Buy a camera, and you’re paparazzi; get a Twitter account ,and you’re an informant. It’s so annoying."

As soon as it was finally confirmed that former Balenciaga creative director Nicolas Ghesquière was replacing Marc Jacobs at Louis Vuitton, our minds began reeling with the possibilities. The man behind 15 years of daring designs and often surprising accessories will certainly bring his own flavour to his post as artistic director.
While we wait to see just what that will be, we're keeping our fingers crossed that these iconic looks are a bit of an indication.
Robert Pattinson may have had a special someone in mind during his recent interview with Australia's Sunday Style. In the magazine, Rob is quoted candidly discussing his take on forgiveness and relationships. Rob told Sunday Style, "I'm quite sensitive, and I do like a bit of grand gesturing, but that's just my ego. I like to give people presents and I think of myself as the best gift giver, but only because I get stuff for myself and then make it work for the other person."
He also went on to reveal, "There's not very much that really bothers me. I don't ever feel the need to forgive or expect people to be. I judge people on their actions. I don't really care if it's wrong or right, I give them the benefit of the doubt. If they do something I can't be bothered to deal with, I just cut them out." His comments to the publication have stirred speculation that they could be directly related to his May breakup with his longtime girlfriend, Kristen Stewart, since the pair were involved with a highly publicized cheating scandal in July 2012.
Rob and Kristen have obviously gone their separate ways, and many feel that it was due to the fact that he could not get past the incident in which she was caught kissing her Snow White and the Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders, last Summer. Do you think Rob's comments about forgiveness and cutting someone out are directed at his ex Kristen?
After announcing that she would, in fact, be starring in her second Balenciaga Florabotanica ad back in May, Kristen Stewart is back at it. The first image of the actress's second campaign has been released, and it's nothing short of beautiful. A bare-backed Kristen sits dotted in neon flowers, with her hair done in a wispy updo and her makeup focusing on a sexy smoky eye and glossy lips. The official campaign will drop in October, but until then, what do you think of Kristen's ad? Let us know in the comments below!
Kristen Stewart bares her back and wears nothing but flowers in the new ad campaign for Balenciaga's womens fragrance, Florabotanica. This is Kristen's second campaign for the French fashion house since being named as the face of the scent in 2012, and she reportedly shot the photos earlier this year. Kristen has remained close with Balenciaga's former creative director, Nicolas Ghesquière, but has not been dressed by the brand since Alexander Wang took over design duties in December. Once the switch was made, it was speculated that she would no longer be attached to the project, but the release of her new ad today obviously proves otherwise. Ironically, her ex-boyfriend Robert Pattinson's teaser campaign for Dior Homme was also launched this week.
Are you glad to see Kristen back for Florabotanica? And what do you think of this new campaign? Weigh in below!
Kristen Stewart was sporting a noticeable new tattoo on her right forearm as she popped up in Berlin to begin filming for her new project, Sils Maria, today. Kristen may be sporting the ink for her new role in the film, though she is no stranger to body art since she recently debuted two new tattoos during a trip overseas for the Paris Haute Couture shows last month. Her real-life ink includes four straight lines on her left wrist and an infinity symbol on her right, which she reportedly had done at a Nashville tattoo parlor in June. See a close-up of the new tattoo below.
Kristen jetted out of LA after rumors circulated that she and her ex-boyfriend Robert Pattinson were working towards reconciling. It may not be easy to keep Rob off her mind, despite being stationed overseas, since her new film has many ties to her former flame. In Sils Maria, Kristen stars opposite of Juliette Binoche, who played Rob's love interest in Cosmopolis, and Tom Sturridge, who is Rob's best friend. Another connection comes through Rob's current Maps to the Stars costar, Mia Wasikowska, who previously dropped out of the role that Kristen is now occupying.
