The episode airs Wednesday, but watch the clip now!
Jennifer Aniston stepped out in NYC to launch her new Living Proof web series, Good Hair Day, yesterday. She's a spokesperson for — and an investor in — the brand and is taking her duties to the next level with her three-part web series, in which she joins experts, including her hairstylist Chris McMillan, and real-life women on the street to talk hair. In a teaser video for the series, Jennifer explains why the cause is important to her, stating, "Good hair days matter to women because . . . we're women." The first episode, "Obsessions," airs today with two more, titled "Confessions" and "Lessons," being released later this month.
We caught up with Jen and Chris at yesterday's press day. During our chat with Jen, she reflected on what she's learned about hair over the years. She said, "I had great hair as a kid, and my mom said, 'You're not allowed to touch your hair until you're 13,' and the first thing I did was cut it all off. I learned that my hair really was a pain in the butt — sort of wide and unmanageable. I learned all my lessons in my younger years of what not to do." British Games of Thrones actress Emilia Clarke, is the latest in a long list of fashion darlings and actresses to take Raf Simons from the runway to the red carpet. Ever since the Belgian designer, formerly of Jil Sander, took the reins at the legendary label, he's presented five exquisite collections. Simons is breathing new life into the design house by taking iconic past-collection references (think New Look from the 1940s) and updating them with a modern twist. Jennifer Aniston discussed a few scary facts about her fiancé, Justin Theroux, on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in a segment that will air today, namely, that Justin likes to scare the actress. She said, "Well, he calls it trickery. But he's constantly hiding behind drapes. And I'm constantly scared. It's like it doesn't get old on me." Jennifer also discussed the rumor that there will be a Friends reunion soon. Check out Jennifer's interview for all the details!
Jennifer Aniston put her fit frame on display last night when she attended the LA premiere of Call Me Crazy: A Five Film in a black Christian Dior ensemble. She was joined by another Jen — Jennifer Hudson — who stars in the film alongside an A-list cast that includes Melissa Leo, Octavia Spencer, Modern Family star Sarah Hyland, and Jennifer Aniston's buddy Chelsea Handler. The film deals with mental illness and Jennifer serves as an executive producer for the movie as well as the Five series, which airs on Lifetime. She opened up about the touchy subject that dominates her new film at the Call Me Crazy opening last night, admitting that she and her producing partners picked the subject because it affects so many people. Jennifer said, "We were sort of banging our heads around for the second round of Five and this sort of came to us and it's because so many people have been affected or someone you know is affected."
Even though Jennifer attended the event without fiancé Justin Theroux, he and the couple's upcoming nuptials were still a hot topic of the night. Jennifer said she still hasn't picked out a wedding dress, despite earlier reports that she would tie the knot soon after she wrapped up filming for the still-untitled film based on an Elmore Leonard novel.
