The Grammys were full of plenty of memorable musical moments, from the night's big winners to the amazing live performances. Justin Timberlake set the auditorium on fire when he took the stage with Jay-Z for his first TV performance in years. Big winners of the night included Adele, who took home the best pop solo performance and thanked her fellow female pop stars, saying, "We work so hard, and we make it look so easy." Carrie Underwood snagged the best country solo performance award, while Frank Ocean avoided an awkward moment when he won the award for best urban performance over Chris Brown, who was recently accused of punching Frank during an argument outside a recording studio. Fun. took home best new artist, as Gotye walked away with the highly coveted record of the year honor.
The night wasn't short of onstage collaborations between many different artists, including a heartfelt rendition of "The A Team" by Ed Sheenan and Elton John; a tribute to Bob Marley by Rihanna, Sting, and Bruno Mars; and a jam session between Alicia Keys and Maroon 5 that got the whole audience on their feet. Earlier in the show, Taylor Swift sang an Alice in Wonderland-inspired performance of "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together." Other exciting performers from the night included Mumford & Sons — who were introduced by Johnny Depp — and Fun., who rocked out with "Carry On."
