Rihanna's hairstylist has been busy. A little over a month after Rihanna debuted a sweet pixie cut, the singer has once again changed up her style. Yesterday Rihanna Instagrammed a photo of herself sporting a longer, asymmetrical style with a slight wave. It's a callback to the red-hot curls the singer sported for some time, but definitely has a healthy dose of attitude. The only hint she gave followers as to the reason for her recent hair evolution? #Diamonds, the name of her latest single, leaving the Internet abuzz with speculation of a possible video shoot. Abbie Cornish stepped out for the premiere of her latest film, Seven Psychopaths, while sporting a sweet twisted side bun. Her hairstyle was elegant but fun thanks to a small wave and a dramatic side part. Want to try this updo yourself? A hair elastic, some bobby pins, and hair spray are all you need to complete this style at home:

1. Lightly mist hair with hair spray to give it some grip. Split it into a side part, and pull it into a low side ponytail.
2. Divide the ponytail into two sections. Take the first section and twist it around the ponytail. Secure it with bobby pins.
3. Take the second section and twist it around the bun you made with the first. Pin it with bobby pins.
4. If you want a waved piece like Abbie wore, then loosen it from the bun and wind it around a one-inch curling iron. Pull to loosen the wave.
5. Finish with a mist of hair spray.

Kate Bosworth is always impeccably dressed and flawlessly complected, but it was her soft, slightly waved hairstyle, which she wore at a recent event feting Charlie Chaplin, that stood out most. This lightly textured coiffure is surprisingly easy to do at home; as it turns out, it's all in the sectioning.

• The prep: Kate's go-to stylist, Luke Chamberlain, started by applying Leonor Greyl Volumatrice Mousse on four preparted portions of hair. He then blow-dried her strands section by section, using a medium-barreled, boar-bristle round brush for volume.
• The finish: "After the blowout, I took large vertical sections and only curled the ends, allowing them to cool in one-inch Velcro rollers," Chamberlain explained. Once set, he removed the rollers, brushed out Kate's hair, and added some Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray for a slightly undone feeling. And that's how you, too, can make waves.
