Behold, Burberry Prorsum's Perfectly Painted Faces

With so many designers opting for makeup-free, fresh-faced looks to accompany their clothes, it's always exciting to see a beauty look that goes beyond just dewy skin and a slick of mascara. At Burberry Prorsum, makeup artist Wendy Rowe wanted to re-create the painted look seen on so many of the pieces of clothing in the show, which meant we finally saw some colour! A wash of colour around the eye was created by applying sheer eye shadow in shades of purple using her fingers for a soft look. Skin was given a semimatte finish using two shades of Fresh Glow Fluid (£34) with Sheer Concealer (£26) and Sheer Powder (£31) to finish. Lipstick in Tulip Pink no. 27 (£23) was the finishing touch.

As for hair, the look was soft and real, as has become the Burberry trademark. Neil Moodie created an easily achievable look that made the models look as if they'd just air-dried their hair after being caught in a rainstorm. Of course, it may look easy, but the vast amount of hair extensions piled on tables backstage suggested a little more went into this look that meets the eye!
