Kate Moss the New Face (and Body) of St. Tropez

Kate Moss has solidified yet another beauty deal, signing on as the new face — and, erm ... body — of St. Tropez.

Kate Moss has solidified yet another beauty deal, signing on as the new face — and, erm ... body — of St. Tropez. The British self-tanning brand has been well-known for tanning models before the catwalk and giving celebrities their red carpet glow. Kate has been using the products from the start, so this partnership is an easy fit. "Kate epitomizes St.Tropez's naturally glamorous approach to self-tanning and is a longtime advocate of the brand," Michelle Feeney, CEO of PZ Cussons Beauty, said. "Not only is she beautiful, but she has this amazing attitude. St.Tropez is about confidence." Kate already has a slew of beauty deals, ranging from cosmetics with Rimmel London to her more recent hair contract with Kérastase. Her résumé as a spokeswoman also includes iconic fashion houses like Saint Laurent and Dior, plus her own fragrance. You can't beat that beauty pedigree!

You can get the same tan from the campaign shots using the St. Tropez Bronzing Mousse (£20.50) and (£20.50) to contour the body. So when you do have to bare it all, you can do it in style à la Kate.

Amanda Seyfried Replacing Liv Tyler as the New Face of Givenchy

Amanda Seyfried just landed another beauty deal: she's the new face of Very Irresistible Givenchy.

Amanda Seyfried just landed another beauty deal: she's the new face of Very Irresistible Givenchy. As the current spokesperson for Japanese luxury brand Clé de Peau Beauté, playing a beauty muse is no new gig. But she's clearly excited to take part in a fashion house that she's been a longtime fan of. When asked to be the new face of the Givenchy fragrance, she said, "F-ck yeah," WWD reports. "I'm proud to be a part of [the brands I'm involved with] because what they do is really cool, especially Givenchy — they're so artistic."

The fair-skinned beauty just finished shooting the TV and print campaign adverts, which were styled by designer Riccardo Tisci. You can expect to see them starting this Autumn. And we're excited to see Amanda decked out in more Givenchy as she promotes her latest films, Lovelace and Epic. Now, if only she could score a hair care deal.

Rumor Confirmed! Drew Barrymore Is Launching a Makeup Line

Update: Back in October, it was rumored that Drew Barrymore would be launching a makeup line (see original story below) — and it turns out the rumblings were true.

Update: Back in October, it was rumored that Drew Barrymore would be launching a makeup line (see original story below) — and it turns out the rumblings were true. A nod to Flower Films, the production company that she cofounded in 1995, Drew's Flower makeup line ($5-$14) will include products for the eyes, face, lips, and nails. Look for it at Walmart next month.

Drew Barrymore already wears quite a few hats (actress, new mother, and Cover Girl, to name a few), but the funny girl might be adding another title to her already impressive résumé: makeup maven. WWD reports that Drew, who has been the spokeswoman for CoverGirl since 2007, is planning to launch a makeup line with Walmart in January. The actress has been working with Intercos, an Italian-based makeup and skin care supplier, to create a line for the department store from scratch. This not only marks the first time Drew has delved into the world of beauty marketing, but also the first time a brand will be developed for and sold exclusively at Walmart.

But what about Drew's tenure as a Cover Girl? The actress's contract runs out in January, but P&G told WWD that she "continues to be a Cover Girl," but that "as a rule, we don't discuss the details of our contracts with our celebrities and ambassadors." If Drew's makeup line is true and is as spunky as she is, we'll be welcoming it with open arms come January.

Marni to Launch Its First Fragrance

Maria Del Russo: Joining the ranks of other iconic brands to break into the perfume arena, Italian fashion house Marni is gearing up to release its first fragrance in February.
Maria Del Russo:

Joining the ranks of other iconic brands to break into the perfume arena, Italian fashion house Marni is gearing up to release its first fragrance in February. "Marni is all about a very discrete confidence," Estée Lauder's Veronique Gabai-Pinsky told WWD. And that discrete confidence is immediately recognizable in the fragrance's bottle. Based on an old flacon Consuelo Castiglioni, creative director for Marni, found at a flea market 20 years ago, the bottle has a uniquely rounded shape and is speckled with polka dots. But the fragrance itself also speaks to a certain kind of elegance. Notes range from spicy to woody, with a healthy layer of rose oil to round it out. "It's very modern and bold," Gabai-Pinsky said.

The line not only includes different bottle sizes (ranging in price from £65 to £100), but also a body lotion, shower gel, and body cream. There is also a purse spray that comes with an adorable "Huggy" doll, sporting the same polka dots as the bottle itself. The launch of Marni's first fragrance puts the house in a place among other designers in Estée Lauder's perfume portfolio, including Tory Burch, Donna Karan, and Coach.

Rihanna Brings Back Her Length

Rihanna's hairstylist has been busy.

Rihanna's hairstylist has been busy. A little over a month after Rihanna debuted a sweet pixie cut, the singer has once again changed up her style. Yesterday Rihanna Instagrammed a photo of herself sporting a longer, asymmetrical style with a slight wave. It's a callback to the red-hot curls the singer sported for some time, but definitely has a healthy dose of attitude. The only hint she gave followers as to the reason for her recent hair evolution? #Diamonds, the name of her latest single, leaving the Internet abuzz with speculation of a possible video shoot. So what do you think about Rihanna's latest hair swap?

No, You're Not Imagining Things. You Really Are Getting More Acne

Good news and bad news from this year's just-concluded American Academy of Dermatology conference.

Good news and bad news from this year's just-concluded American Academy of Dermatology conference. First, the bitter reality: if it seems like you break out more as an adult than you did as a teen, you're probably right. As dermatologist Dr. Bethanee Jean Schlosser revealed at the conference, adult-onset acne is on the rise among grown women. A 2011 clinical study found that 45 percent of women in their 20s had acne, and 26 percent of 30-somethings had acne. Compared with men in the same age groups, women were disproportionately living in Breakout City.

So why are grown women more prone to pimples? A variety of factors are to blame, but it's mostly our surge of hormones. Both men and women have androgens, hormones that can cause oil glands to produce too much sebum. In addition, fluctuating androgen levels can cause skin cells to become sticky, leading to clogged pores. Acne is less common as women age, but some women experience it into their 40s and 50s.

So what's the good news? Acne can be treated and managed. Start by using a cleanser with salicylic acid, and apply benzoyl peroxide to your skin at night. Moderate to severe acne requires more attention, and can definitely benefit from a dermatologist's expertise. (Antibiotics, topical treatments, or birth control pills may be the answer; read a doctor's top acne advice.) Battling acne isn't always easy, and it's definitely not quick, but it is possible — and with any luck, you'll have a clear complexion in the bag.

The Hunger Games Nail Polish Is Confirmed

The controversy is over.

The controversy is over. After weeks of back and forth about whether the collection would ever see the light of day, fans of The Hunger Games can rest assured that they will be able to cover their digits in the gold of Cinna's eyeliner. The nail polish collection is, once and for all, confirmed. China Glaze will be debuting the official line on March 1, 2012, to coincide with the film's March 23 US premiere date. Although shade previews found their way onto the internet earlier this year, China Glaze says that polish colors are still in development, although they'll all be inspired by Panem. So look for lots of decadent effects, cool color, and maybe a slightly sinister vibe, too.

Stella McCartney Is Coming Out With a New Fragrance

"It comes from my dad's nickname for my mum: 'Linda I love you,'" explained designer Stella McCartney of her forthcoming scent, dubbed L.I.L.Y.. And if that isn't enough to leave you all teary-eyed, the perfume's moniker also pays tribute to the flower lily of the valley, a favorite of Stella's mother, Linda McCartney. But there's a darker, more masculine side to the perfume, as well, with truffle extract at the top and oak moss at the base. "You can't grow moss — you can't plant it unless it wants to grow," Stella said, adding, "I find that quite sexy and sinister, to contrast with the lily of the valley." To find out more, just keep reading.
